On-Demand Streaming
Did you ever want your listeners to hear a previous show or just to
play songs from certain artist? Did you ever want to
historically keep special broadcasts on file for your listeners to
play when ever they want?
If
you are an artist you might want people to be able to listen to your
music at anytime they want, sort of like a preview. So if you were an
artist you could give people the ability to listen to your music
anytime they are ready, as opposed to Live Streaming where your
content would have to be rotated.
Well then, On-demand Streaming is for you.
Here is the pricing:
- 100 Megs of upload storage - $ 4.00 / month
- 200 Megs of upload storage - $ 6.00 /
month
- 500 Megs of upload storage - $ 8.00 / month
- 1 GIG of upload storage - $ 10.00 / month
- 2 GIGs of upload storage - $ 15.00 /
month
You can upload from 100 Megs to 2 GIGS (more
upon request) or MP3's or files to your Shoutcast Server and play them
when ever you want.
For example, a MP3 which is 3 1/2 minutes long and is ripped at
128kbps is 3.4 Megs. If you take the 100 Meg package, you can
store about 28 songs on your server. If you take the 1 GIG
package, you can store 285 songs on your server.
$2.00 per Gig storage over 2 Gigs.
After you place your order for On-Demand with 2 Gigs of storage, you
will be prompted to add additional storage.
Maximum number of concurrent listeners is 20.

AUTO DJ
Did you ever want to turn off your broadcast PC and not lose your
listeners? Well now you can. With Auto DJ, it allows your
station to stay on the air and will play songs automatically while you
shut down your broadcast PC. You may want to turn it off for the
evening or even to install new software or just to reboot it once in a
while.
Auto DJ will play songs in your selected playlist, complete with
professional fading between songs and also maintain the ID3 tags.
So the listener will not even know that you have left the air.
When you want to return back to normal broadcasting, just turn off
Auto DJ and resume your broadcast from your PC.
This feature will really aid you in making your station sound even
more professional.
